Acton-Boxbourgh has a great youth lacrosse program with the Acton-Boxborough Youth Lacrosse (ABYL) program.   Formed in the 1990’s, ABYL has over 20 years of developing young players into competitive lacrosse players.  Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in America and is a fun, skillful, athletic sport that will challenge boys at all ages.

ABYL begins in 1st grade and continues through 8th grade.   Players of all ages are welcome and its never too late to start the great game of lacrosse.

Our 1st/2nd grade teams compete in the Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (MBYLL) and 3rd through 8th compete in the Town Pride League (TPL).   Both leagues provide execellent competition and player development.   For more league information, go to:  http://mbyll.org/ and/or  http://tpllax.com/ , respectively.

The ABYL season runs from late February to approximately the 2nd week of June.    From February 25th through March 25th, practices are once a week on Sundays indoors at Acton Teamworks.  Then starting the week of March 26th, practices are typically 2 times a week with games on Sundays.   Practices times/nights are dependent on field availability.  We try for the K/1st/2nd graders (U9) to have them practice on Tuesday and Friday early evenings (6 PM).
